From George Onyejiuwa, Owerri
Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has applauded the stability and innovative approach of the newly constituted board and management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Uzodimma, who stated this on Thursday in Nkwerre council area of Imo State while commissioning the Owerre-Nkworji-Abba-Eziama Mbano Road built by the NDDC, noted the absence of internal conflicts since the inception of the current board and management of the interventionist commission.
He said: “Since the creation of the new board and management of the Niger Delta Development Commission, we’ve not heard any board crisis or management crisis in the team. We’ve not heard of any acrimony among the members of the board of management.”
The governor contrasted the current harmony with past challenges, noting, “We’ve not heard of the dissolution of boards. We’ve not heard vocabularies like sole administrator or interim management committees.”
