If feelers reaching TS Weekend are anything to go by, the US-based Afrobeat band, Antibalas, is expected in Nigeria next month.
According to a reliable source, the band will be on hand to thrill fans at the New Afrika Shrine, Ikeja and Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

“After Felabration, the stage is set for another grand Afrobeat concert in Nigeria, which will be headlined by one of the greatest Afrobeat bands in the world, Antibalas.
Details are still sketchy but I can assure you that it is going to be a blast! As I speak, preparations have reached feverish level,” the source quipped.
Antibalas is modeled after Fela’s Africa 70 Band but also incorporates elements of jazz, funk, and traditional drumming from Africa and Cuba.
