Regarding her impending musical release, Forever James revealed that the song is titled TG4L, an acronym for “Thank God for Life.” Elaborating on the inspiration behind this poignant anthem, James explained, “In our often hectic lives, we frequently neglect to pause and reflect on our journey thus far. We become consumed by our pursuit of self-improvement, forgetting to express gratitude for the blessings we currently possess. TG4L serves as a heartfelt reminder to appreciate the beauty of life, and as we do so, hope is rekindled within us.”
In a nod to her Nigerian heritage, James incorporated Pidgin English into the song, skillfully blending cultural nuances with her unique artistic expression. “Although I reside in the UK, I sought to honor my Nigerian roots through the infusion of Pidgin English, thereby creating a distinctive sound that resonates with a broader audience.”
