The University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) has cancelled the post University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for prospective 2023/2024 students of the institution scheduled to hold between October 3 and October 28.
The university said that screening of the students will be based on verified JAMB UTME, O’level and Direct Entry results in place of the Post -UTME Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination.
The changes are contained in a notice dated September 7, 2023 and signed by the Register of the institution, Dr. Mrs C. N Nnebedum.
The notice said that the decision is informed by the prevailing uncertainties and logistical implications of students traveling from various parts of the country to the institution for at the examination.
The notice warned that “any candidate who fails to upload the verified O’level results at JAMB caps in record time shall not be considered for admission” the management stated.
“Other details on the registration for the screening on O’level and Direct Entry results at the UNN portal as already published on the school website remains as scheduled.”
