UNIZIK High School  wins 2024 Martin Luther King competition

In keeping with the high standards for which Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka is known, students of UNIZIK  High School  have  achieved another feat by emerging victorious with the first position among schools in Anambra State in the Martin Luther King Jnr Day 2024 competition.

The event was organized by the US Missions in Nigeria through the American Spaces In Nigeria  for secondary schools in Anambra State.

Presenting the award winning students to the Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Charles Esimone, the principal of the High school,  Mrs Isreal Olanike Atinuke praised the students for their hard work and excellent performance.

She assured that the high standards for which the school was known would be maintained. She thanked the Vice Chancellor for supporting the school.

Media Adviser to the Vice Chancellor, Dr Emma Ojukwu, in statement yesterday, said his boss, Professor Esimone, congratulated the students for their brilliant performance at the competition, stressing that the future belongs to those who work hard to achieve their dreams. He reassured the school of more support within the limit of the University’s resources.
