The University of Port Harcourt Business School, has entered into a partnership with the Centre for Cultural Savvy and Leadership Development (CCSLD Consulting), based in Manchester, United Kingdom to grow professionalism
CCSLD is involved in developing people across socio-economic divides to prepare high-end professionals for leadership roles.
Under the partnership, UNIPORT Business School will certify clients drawn from diverse ethnic national, gender, differently able, socio-economic and religious backgrounds, coached and mentored by CCSLD.
The deal was sealed by the Director of UNIPORT Business School, Professor Okey Onuchuku and CCSLD Director, Mr. Osoba Otaigbe , at a brief ceremony in Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Both Onuchukwu and Otaigbe expressed delight at the prospect of taking professional excellence to a new pedestal through a client-centric collaboration and teamwork.
Otaigbe said CCSLD is a bespoke business solution consulting and training company with core competencies in leadership development, change management and building inter-cultural proficiency.
According to him, CCSLD has developed learning solutions to address the many challenges facing today’s business administration, management, leadership and inter-cultural competence based on the following strategy:
‘‘In addition to partnering with the University of Port Harcourt Business School to deliver effective and efficient individual and organisational success in the Nigerian market, CCSLD is also in partnership with the Centre for Cultural Intelligence, USA, to provide robust solutions to its clients.
CCSLD has also delivered culture re-orientation programme for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and its subsidiary companies.
We also collaborate with Neo Media and Marketing, a Lagos-based public relations and marketing strategy company, to create and promote news around the CCSLD brand in Nigeria. In addition, we support many faith based groups in the UK with cultural intelligence solutions,’’ he said.
