At the event which had critical
stakeholders and policy makers in health and other sectors in attendance, Prof. Adejuyigbe emphasized the need for a multi sectoral approach involving the health, trade, environment, security, and transport sectors.

“The Joint External Evaluation (JEE) is not intended to set states back but to objectively identify existing gaps in line with the National Health Security Agenda (NHSA),” she added.

The stakeholders at the meeting provided feedback on the state of health security in Ondo State and acknowledged that the state is currently behind in certain areas.

The stakeholders emphasized that the outcome of the conference would not only help advance Ondo State’s health security capacities but also contribute positively to national health security objectives.
