A 300 level Nursing student of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, Adebisi Wisdom has emerged the overall winner in the Florence Nightingale Essay Competition held in the state.
The organizers of the essay competition described Wisdom’s feat as a reflection of intellectual rigor, professional insight and commitment to excellence.
Reacting to the remarkable achievement, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Ebunoluwa Adejuyigbe stated that “this is a testament to excellence that UNIMED upholds in all its programmes.”

The Vice Chancellor appreciated the good works done by the student, saying that the university is proud of her lofty attainment.
Adebisi Wisdom will now represent Ondo State at the zonal level of the competition in Ogun State.
Florence Nightingale Essay and Speech Competition is an annual programme organized by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
