Unilorin SU awards CEO over humanitarian contributions

Founder and Chairman of Fly Multi Company Ltd., Bolarinwa Kashif Ololade popularly knows as MrFly was presented an humanitarian award by the Students’ Union, University of Ilorin, Kwara State, on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

The award which was presented to the philanthropist at the Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Summit tagged Millions of Naira Project of the Unilorin Students’ Union held at the university auditorium on Saturday under the leadership of the Unilorin Students’ Union Vice President, Oseni Islamiat Arinola.

The Students’ Union Vice President and Convener, Unilorin Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Summit, Oseni Islamiat Arinola, presenting to MrFly, noted that his contributions will assist several students who have handiworks to help themselves maximise the alternative skills that they have.

She said, “This award is presented to you due to your exceptional dedication, unwavering commitment, and outstanding contributions to human capital development of University of Horin Students’ Union on this day 12th August, 2023. Your remarkable efforts have not only elevated standards but also uplifted lives, embodying the true spirit of compassion and humanity.

“We believed that subsequently, you’ll also heed to our calls when we call upon you.”

MrFly, who was represented at the event by his personal assistant, Awawu Folake Olaniyan, addressed students in attendance at the event and also beneficiaries of the empowerment program to be hungry for success.

The address read in part, “I need to emphasize on the fact that education, which was the primary reason why you find yourselves in this community should not be taken with levity. With your education, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.”
