UNILAG releases 2025/2026 admission merit cut-off marks

The University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, has released the 2025/2026 merit admission cut-off marks for various courses.

The release of the cut-off marks will end the anxiety among candidates and parents who picked UNILAG as their first choice.

In a statement titled, “UNILAG Releases 2025/2026 UTME Merit Cut-off Marks”, the university also listed different cut-off marks for the institution’s catchment states such as Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo.

The statement read in part: “Prospective students, parents/guardians and other members of the public are hereby informed that the University of Lagos has officially released the UTME merit admission cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session.”

Medicine and Surgery has the highest cut-off mark of 85.025, followed by Computer Science 83.425, Computer Engineering 82.225, Nursing 79, Law 78.225, English 68.175, History and Strategies Studies 70.725, Linguistics 72.55, Radiography 77.375, Education English 68.05, Mechanical Engineering 78.525, System Engineering 78.225, Architecture 75.575, Accounting 75.7, Banking and Finance 70.35, Pharmacy 76.4, Economics 73,475, Public Administration 74.2.

Cut-off marks for the Faculty of Arts are French 60.225, Chinese 68.95, Philosophy 66.075, CRS 54.625, IRS 54.675, Russian 58.775 and German 60.95.

For the College of Medicine, the cut-off marks are: Anatomy 72.4, Pharmacology 73.125, Physiology 72.875, Medical Lab Science 74.375, Nursing 79.8, Physiotherapy 74.725 and Dental Science 76.55.

Under the Faculty of Education, cut-off marks are Adult Education 53.525, Business Education 59.65, Early Childhood Education 60.25, Education Yoruba 62.025, Education Foundations 60.025, Education Home Economics 58.125 and Special Education 58.2.

For the Faculty of Engineering, the approved merit cut-off marks, Biomedical Engineering 73.3, Chemical Engineering 72.8, Civil Engineering 75.625, Electrical/Electronics Engineering 79.5, Petroleum and Gas Engineering 70.725, and Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering 58.125.

The cut-off marks for the Faculty of Environmental Sciences are Building 57.825, Estate Management 57.525, Quantity Surveying 64.3, and Urban and Regional Planning 53.5

The Faculty of Science cut-off marks are Biochemistry 69.4, Biostatistics 52.125, Botany 51.45, Cell Biology Science 68.975, Chemistry 59.5, Data Science 76.925, Environmental Standards 65.775, Geology 63.55, Geography 65.225, Marine Biology 55.45, Fisheries 52.475, Mathematics 63.675, Industrial Mathematics 67.875, Statistics 65.925, Microbiology 68.075, Physics 60.25, and Zoology 57.25.

The released cut-off marks for the Faculty of Social Sciences are Economics and Development Studies 65.725, Geography 57.475, Meteorology and Climate Science 55.95, Library and Information Science 66.625, Political Science 68.15, Psychology 69.7, Social Work 67.35, Sociology 68.275, and Social Standards 60.95.

The university advised successful candidates to continuously check their JAMB portal for their admission status.
