The University of Lagos has awarded degrees to 272 first- class graduates during its 56th Convocation Ceremonies for 2025.
At the Convocation held Wednesday, January 21, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Folashafe Ogunsola, announced that 2,097 students graduated from the Faculties of Engineering, Law, and Management Sciences.
According to the Vice Chancellor, the Faculty of Engineering recorded 613 graduates, out of which 89 students earned first class degree honours, a remarkable feat that shows the spirit of competitiveness in the faculty.
Among these notable graduates is an exceptional scholar, Engr. Okoyechira Kenechukwu Blaise GMNSE, who earned a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering.
