Super Eagles forward, Umar Sadiq, who previously rejected offers from the German Bundesliga and Turkey in hopes of a move back to Valencia, is now considering bids from Qatar, the UAE, Serbia, and Greece. He is facing the prospect of being sidelined by Real Sociedad until January.

Sadiq was linked with clubs like Besiktas and Samsunspor, and had previously been in talks with Trabzonspor. However, the transfer window for new signings in the Super Lig closed last Friday without the desired move to Anoeta materializing.

Additionally, signings are no longer permitted in Saudi Arabia, where Sadiq had been linked with Al-Ettifaq. Real Sociedad is now focusing on Qatar, where the transfer market will remain open until September 16. Interest in Sadiq has been significant, with Al-Sadd and Al-Duhail reportedly pursuing him. His representatives even travelled to Doha earlier this summer, but he did not consider this option at the time.

Aside from Qatar, other transfer markets that remain open include Serbia, which closes on the 19th; Greece, where the deadline extends to September 26; and the United Arab Emirates, which will remain open until October 2.
