Ugwuanyi appoints more principal officers for SUMAS

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has approved the appointments of other principal officers of the newly established State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Igbo-Eno, Enugu State.

Ugwuanyi recently approved the appointment of James Chukwuma Ogbonna as the vice chancellor of the medical university.

In a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Simon Ortuanya, yesterday, Ugwuanyi appointed Anselem Onah as the registrar of the university.

Onah, until his appointment, was the acting registrar of University of Nigeria Nsukka.

The governor also appointed Elvis Ozoadibe, a chartered accountant, as the university’s bursar. Ozoadibe, until his appointment, was the deputy bursar of UNN.

According to the statement, the former deputy librarian, Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Monica Eze, was appointed as the university’s librarian.

All appointments take effect from yesterday.
