Students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) had a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of digital media, product marketing, and the arts during an interactive mentorship session hosted by the Morning Star Theatre Troupe.
The event featured Mr. Favour Ugochukwu, a seasoned digital marketing strategist and product growth specialist, alongside Onyinyechi Joy Nduka, a respected theatre expert.
The session drew a large attendance of students passionate about arts, culture, filmmaking, content creation, and digital innovation. It provided a platform for young learners to engage with industry leaders and gain practical insights into how creative content can influence both artistic and technology-driven projects.
Onyinyechi Joy Nduka shared valuable guidance on excelling in the arts and culture industry, offering practical advice, personal anecdotes, and strategies for building a successful career in theatre and performance.
Meanwhile, Mr. Favour Ugochukwu led an in-depth discussion on how content creation can drive product marketing, technology adoption, and digital growth. Drawing from his experience at fintech and content distribution platforms, Ugochukwu showcased how strategic storytelling and multimedia content can amplify product value, improve user engagement, and bridge the gap between tech and marketing teams.

During the session, students learned how to use content to communicate product value effectively, collaborate with tech teams to enhance product-user experiences, translate technical product features into compelling stories and leverage storytelling and digital campaigns to support product adoption and growth.
