Former Akwa Ibom governor,  Udom Emmanuel,  has lauded the economic reforms of the President Bola Tinubu administration, noting that the President deserves the support of Nigerians.

Udom, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Stephen Abia, said the economic reforms of President Tinubu’s administration are already  beginning to have positive impact on key macroeconomic indicators.

The former governor affirmed that as a player in Nigeria’s economic and financial sector, there are some improvements in critical economic indicators.

Therefore, he  expressed confidence that  in due course, these improvements in the macroeconomic fundamentals would translate into tangible benefits for ordinary Nigerians and strengthen the country’s overall economic well-being.

According to him, policies which advance the national interest deserve full support of all Nigerians.  Consequently,  he assured the President Tinubu of his support to further strengthen the reforms that promote Nigeria’s economic growth, stability and prosperity.

“When nations face existential crisis, leaders are bound to rally around the incumbent leadership, in a bid to rescue and restore normalcy.

“Our case in Nigeria shouldn’t be different as we confront our current challenges. Mr. President deserves all our support. The country’s macroeconomic ecosystem has some cheery news,” he stated.
