Manchester United defender, Lisandro Martinez has hit out at the club’s board after they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Martinez criticised the failure to invest in the squad during the summer.
According to him, he had expected more from “upstairs”, directly calling out technical director, Jason Wilcox.

“We had a fantastic season last season, and now we expect more from the top, from upstairs, to bring in more players to compete because many teams have brought in many players as well,” Martinez told Amazon Prime.
“I expect more from our technical director. I have to be honest. And also, as a player, we have to do more.”
The defeat to Atletico means United have failed to win their last five fixtures in all competitions.
