Manchester City manager, Enzo Maresca, has revealed injury updates on key players ahead of their Champions League clash with AEK Athens on Tuesday night.
Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo both sustained knocks during Manchester City’s 3-2 Premier League victory over Ipswich Town last weekend.
Haaland’s injury is understood to be less serious, while Semenyo could face a spell of up to two months on the sidelines.
On Haaland, Maresca said: “He can be available, we’ll see, we have a session now.
“We have some doubts after the game. We’ll see, he was quite good yesterday, better, but we’ll see today.’
When asked about Semenyo and other injury doubts around Nico O’Reilly and Mateo Kovacic, he replied: “The rest are more or less all okay, the only one that will be out for probably eight weeks is Antoine.”
