The new platform delivers a faster, smarter, and more dynamic online experience, complete with live news updates, real-time Nigerian stock prices, and enhanced accessibility for a global audience.

According to the bank, the upgrade sets a new benchmark for speed, innovation, and user engagement in Africa’s banking sector.

Speaking on the launch, UBA’s Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communication, Alero Ladipo, said the redesign focuses on streamlining the user journey, boosting responsiveness across all devices, and providing a language-agnostic interface for its diverse customer base.

“We are thrilled to unveil our new website, which represents a significant milestone in our digital transformation journey. Our goal is to provide a world-class digital experience that meets the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders,” Ladipo stated.

She highlighted that the platform’s speed is powered by upgraded server infrastructure and advanced load balancing, ensuring minimal downtime and “lightning-fast performance.”

“By combining speed, accessibility, and live market intelligence, our new platform strengthens our position as an industry leader,” she added.

The site integrates automated news updates via Bloomberg and real-time stock price tracking, ensuring visitors are always informed.

Head of Digital and Online Marketing, Amanda Oguamanam, explained that the overhaul focused on improving clarity and engagement:

“We have transformed our website to be faster, cleaner, and more engaging, removing clutter by over 60%, upgrading servers for speed and reliability, streamlining navigation, and tailoring content to inspire global partners while making it easier for customers to find what they need.”

Other standout features include improved accessibility for users with disabilities, a dark/light mode toggle, advanced search tools, and a simplified content structure, all aimed at delivering an inclusive and modern experience.
