UAE’s 52nd Independence Anniversary Unveils ‘Year of Sustainability’ with the Theme “Today for Tomorrow”

United Arab Emirate Celebrates 52nd Independence Anniversary with the Theme “Today for Tomorrow” The year 2023 is dedicated to sustainability, under the theme, ‘Today for Tomorrow’. It’s their ‘Year of Sustainability’ which will include initiatives, activities and events that draw upon the UAE’s values of sustainability and the legacy of its Founding President, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The UAE Ambassador to Nigeria His Excellency, Salem Saeed Al-Shamsi Hosted Minister of Himanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation along other Ministers and key Government officials to mark the anniversary event chaired by the Deputy Senate President.

Speaking the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Commended the UAE for an exceptional Developmental stride, saying Nigeria and UAE can collaborate to expand the frontiers on investment and Humanitarian support. She looks forward to a fruitful engagement at COP 28.
