African soccer governing body has conducted the draws for the qualifiers of the 2023 U23 African Cup of Nations, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The draw was conducted on Thursday afternoon at the CAF headquarters in Cairo Egypt.

Expectedly, Nigeria’s Dream Team was among the teams drawn bye in the first round alongside Ivory Coast, Ghana, Egypt, Algeria, Senegal, Mali, Gabon and Cameroon.

According to the draw, the 1996 Olympics gold medalists will have to wait for the winner between Tanzania and South Sudan in the second round.

The first leg of the second round has been fixed for October 21st – 23rd and the second for 28th – 30th, 2022.
