U.S Envoy Says American Investors Ready for Nigeria

The Consul General of the United States of America in Nigeria, Mr John Bray, has given reasons for investors from his home country to be attracted to Nigeria.

At a courtesy call on the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, the American envoy stressed that investors from his country are ready to invest in the country provided security, transparency in transactions and democratic principles are guaranteed.

He said he was in Akwa Ibom State to identify areas of investments, establish more bilateral cooperation with Nigeria.

Bray described Akwa Ibom as the most peaceful states in the country with a congenial business environment and lauded the state government for the available infrastructure.

Receiving the American Envoy, Governor Emmanuel commended the United States Of America for their investments in the Oil sector, Airlines Operation and other trade links saying the investment has given a boost to the Nigerian economy by creating employment.

Emmanuel said that the State is an investors’ haven with beautiful topography and an enticing coast line and landscape suitable for various business concern.

He said that Nigeria has had an enduring economic collaboration with the United States and sued for increased bilateral relationship with the American investors.
