The Nigeria Police Force has declared two people wanted in connection with the killing of a Senior Road Safety Corps (SRSC) officer with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun State and her 10‑year‑old daughter.

Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, said in a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo on Friday that Adumati Idowu, 38, and Faturoti Kehinde, 36 (also known as “Fagorite”), are being sought over the murders of Mrs Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, 38, and her daughter, Lasisi Sewa, 10.

Ojelabi described Faturoti as about 1.7m tall, dark in complexion, with a pointed nose, oblong head and black hair. “Both suspects are of Yoruba extraction,” the statement said.

Ojelabi urged members of the public to provide information on the suspects’ whereabouts, saying: “Anybody harbouring the suspect will be treated by the police as an accomplice to the crime.”

He said anyone with useful information would be handsomely rewarded.

Authorities have appealed to anyone who recognises or sees the named individuals to contact the police immediately.
