Okan Buruk, Galatasaray’s head coach, has hinted that Victor Osimhen could return early from injury.
Osimhen underwent surgery two weeks ago after suffering an arm injury during Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool.
The Super Eagles striker was initially expected to be sidelined until the end of the month.
After spending last week in the gym, the Nigeria international started working with the physiotherapist on Tuesday.

Buruk revealed that Osimhen could be included in the squad for the Yellow and Reds’ clash with Gençlerbirliği in two weeks.
“Osimhen has started running again. It will be difficult for him to return this weekend, but I think he could be included in the squad for the Gençlerbirliği match.
“He will play the following week if conditions are right,” Buruk said.
Galatasaray defeated Göztepe 3-1 on Wednesday night to boost their chances of winning a third consecutive league title.
