Former Fenerbahçe attacking midfielder Rıdvan Dilmen has warned Mauro Icardi to accept Victor Osimhen as Galatasaray’s top striker.
According to Dilmen, Galatasaray’s centre-forward position belongs to Osimhen, and Icardi must either accept it or concede.
Dilmen recently stated on the Sports Digitale YouTube channel that Okan Buruk did not want to offend Icardi either. However, the Champions League does not accept sentimentality.

“A game with Icardi would be a different game; you wouldn’t have had the start you did with him in this match, and you wouldn’t have scored the third goal.
“If emotionality overtakes logic in coaching, you have no chance of success. This team’s centre forward is Osimhen. Icardi will either accept it or give in.”
Galatasaray overcame Göztepe 3-1 in the Turkish Super Lig over the weekend, with goals from Osimhen and Icardi.
