President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a stark warning to Iran, declaring that the United States would respond with overwhelming and unprecedented force if Tehran carries out threats of retaliation.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said Iran had signalled plans to launch a major strike.

“Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever been hit before,” he wrote.
He followed up with a direct warning: “ They better not do that, however, because if they do, we will hit them with a force that has never been seen before!”
