John Mikel Obi has urged Chelsea to go all out in signing Victor Osimhen this summer.
Osimhen has been linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge this summer, with the Blues apparently looking to recruit him on loan with a buy option.
The forward’s exorbitant salary and Napoli’s reluctance to the buy option have proven to be stumbling blocks.
Mikel has, however, challenged his former team to complete the transfer.
“I keep saying we need Victor Osimhen. Go and get Victor Osimhen. Please get that deal done because we need an out-and-out striker.
“He is a player that is going to get us goals,” Mikel said on the Obi One Podcast.
“Yes, I have said it, technically maybe not the best, goalscoring, he will get us goals and that is what we need. We need a striker who will stay around the box like Haaland.”
