Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has said “yes” to a permanent move to Galatasaray.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray have now submitted an offer to sign Osimhen permanently from Napoli.
He wrote on X: “Galatasaray have sent an initial bid for Victor Osimhen for €50m plus €5m… while Napoli wants more.
“Osimhen, keen in return to Gala but deal depends on club to club talks. Al Hilal remain involved in the race with a plan to pay €75m clause but no agreement with Victor yet.”
In another tweet, Romano tweeted: “More on Victor Osimhen and Galatasaray story from earlier today.
“Personal terms are agreed until June 2028, Victor said yes to Gala once again.
“It now depends on Galatasaray and Napoli to get deal done after initial €55m bid, after Al Hilal offered to pay €75m clause.
Similarly, Nigerian Journalist, Buchi Laba, who is close to Osimhen, confirmed that the Super Eagles striker has accepted Galatasaray’s proposal to return to the club permanently.
He wrote on X: Exclusive: “Victor James Osimhen says YES to Galatasaray and wants to continue with the Turkish Team. Napoli for weeks have been pleading with Victor Osimhen to stay. Galatasaray and Napoli are currently in negotiations for the payment of his Release clause.”
Osimhen enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Yellow-Reds, scoring 37 goals in all competitions and winning two trophies and numerous individual awards.
