Christopher Nkunku, a Chelsea attacker, is open to joining Manchester United as negotiations with the Blues continue regarding an exchange deal including Alejandro Garnacho.
Chelsea and Napoli of Serie A have shown interest in signing Garnacho during the January transfer window.
But so far only Napoli have presented a bid for the Argentina winger, which Man United has rejected.
The Red Devils reportedly demand a £54.8 million transfer fee for Garnacho.
Garnacho prefers staying in the Premier League instead of heading to Napoli, but Chelsea has yet to finalize an arrangement with Manchester United.
Nkunku, however, has struggled to get consistent playing time under Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca this season.
The 27-year-old has only started three Premier League games for Chelsea.
Manchester United are said to have inquired about Nkunku’s status, while Bayern Munich has also expressed an interest in signing the promising player.
According to Sky Germany, Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly in negotiations over a swap deal for Nkunku and Garnacho, and the France international is willing to transfer from Stamford Bridge to Old Trafford this January.
Nkunku has also achieved a verbal agreement with Bayern Munich, but the Bundesliga giants are unwilling to proceed with the transfer since Mathys Tel refuses to leave the German club.
