Transfer: Manchester United interested in signing Nigerian-born striker from Arsenal

mANCHESTER

Manchester United are interested in signing Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal.

The Nigerian-born striker, who now represents Denmark at the junior level, visited United’s training facility this week.

The Gunners are anxious to keep Obi-Martin, with first-team manager Mikel Arteta in negotiations with the teenager.

But Obi-Martin could sign for one of Arsenal’s biggest rivals.

According to Academy Scoop, “Manchester United are interested in Danish striker phenom Chido Obi-Martin, with discussions at an early stage.

“The record-breaking goal scorer visited Carrington on Tuesday.

“Contrary to rumours, no agreement has been found yet, nor has a final decision been made by the player.”
