Matthijs de Ligt, a Bayern Munich defender, has informed his agent Rafaela Pimenta that he only wants to join Manchester United this summer.

According to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, both teams are negotiating the move after De Ligt agreed on personal terms with United.

On Thursday, Romano tweeted: “Matthijs de Ligt told his agent Rafaela Pimenta two weeks ago that he would only negotiate with Manchester United and not with any other teams.
