Manchester United has struck a deal in principle to sell Mason Greenwood to Marseille for £27 million, plus £3.2 million in add-ons, according to Mail Sport.
The transfer was delayed owing to Greenwood’s permission.
The player and the two clubs have now reached a verbal agreement on the prospective move, but the transaction has yet to be completed.

Greenwood will now fly to France to undergo a medical examination and sign the relevant documents.
The move to Marseille would see the 22-year-old play under Roberto De Zerbi, who was hired by the Ligue 1 giants in June.
