Transfer: Chelsea aim to seal Olise deal

By Seyi Babalola

Chelsea have contacted Crystal Palace about signing Michael Olise this summer.

The Blues hold a long-term interest in the winger and are aware of other Premier League clubs’ interest.

Olise’s current contract at Selhurst Park extends until 2027, and he only signed a new four-year contract last summer.

The contract is thought to feature a release clause worth £60 million.

The 22-year-old joined Palace from Reading in 2021 and has 16 goals and 25 assists throughout all competitions.

Olise scored 10 goals in 19 appearances last season, his greatest performance despite missing 18 games due to injury, and is doing well under new manager Oliver Glasner.
