Arsenal has initiated talks to sign RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, according to Mail Sport.

It is understood that the discussions are still in their early stages.

After coming second again this season, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta plans to bolster his attack for next season.

Arsenal has finished as runners-up for three consecutive years and missed out on silverware last season.

Last summer and in January, Arsenal’s offers for Sesko were rejected.

However, the 21-year-old will not come cheaply, with Leipzig demanding £92.5 million for the Slovenia international.

Arteta was left short in the final third for the second half of the campaign, after Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz both suffered serious injuries in January and February, respectively.
