Kemi Badenoch, the leader of the United Kingdom’s Conservative Party, has explained why UK should avoid a trade war with the United States.
Badenoch spoke with journalists on Tuesday about US President Donald Trump’s impending tariffs on the UK.

She believes that a trade war between the United States and the United Kingdom will make everyone poorer.
“We should not be engaging in a trade war or tit-for-tat retaliation – that makes everybody poorer,” Badenoch said as quoted by Sky News.
When asked for her solution to avoid a trade war, she said: “UK-US trade deal ASAP”.
