September 30, 2023 marked a turn around in the lives of children, youths and widows opportuned to be beneficiaries of the Tosin Olatujoye Foundation.

 

The foundation, targeted towards inspiring hope and transforming lives is set to focus on four core values including empowerment of women and youth, STEM education for children, ensuring access to water and sanitation as well as electricity for communities.

The founder, Dr. Oluwatosin Olatujoye said the goals of the foundation is him to leave a mark and build a legacy is one of the reasons the foundation was established. He added that the foundation will help fill the gap by reaching the underserved communities knowing fully well that the government alone may not be able to reach all the citizens.

Mrs. Bukola Olatujoye, the co-founder of the foundation while also speaking of the projected impacts of the foundation affirmed that not only will the foundation change lives but also restore hope to women particularly widows, youths and children.

At the event, the founder and co-founder also unveiled Eleso Moyosoreoluwa as Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the foundation, James Jolayemi as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Harrison Onyeamechi as Secretary. Also, Mr Gospel Obele, Ambassador Abiodun Sowemimo, Mr. Lateef Lawal, Mr. Wasiu Sonekan, Mr. Ezekiel Solesi, Mr Olugbenga Ojo, Mrs. Camilia Ijeoma were all unveiled as Board Members.

The foundation gave scholarships to 44 children, 20 youths received skill empowerment opportunities and 32 widows received financial support for their businesses.

All the beneficiaries beamed with joy and hope as they were all awarded cash gifts and a variety of food items by the foundation.

Apart from kick starting this exhilarating initiative, the founder and co-founder alongside the members of the board of trustees also extended a hand of partnership to willing individuals and organizations willing to key into the initiative.

A guardian to one of the beneficiaries of the School Scholarship Initiative mentioned that the student had to stop her education in SS2 but this scholarship will carry her to the point of sitting for her WAEC.

The Tosin Olatujoye Foundation is a non-profit organization solely aimed at touching lives and rejuvenating lost dreams by providing basic resources to those in need.

Following set objectives, the foundation is set to reach millions of Nigerians in underserved communities in the next few years.
