Creative Director of Top Dog Designers, Martins Obi Martins, has unveiled a new fashion collection titled “THE ĠÒÐS,” a premium African menswear line that celebrates diversity and challenges conventional beauty standards.
Known for its bespoke and urban wear, the fashion house combines traditional African craftsmanship with contemporary design, producing luxury pieces defined by precision tailoring and premium finishing.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the collection, Martins said, “THE ĠÒÐS” honours people whose physical differences, including albinism, dwarfism, and other unique body types, are often overlooked by society.

“Everybody is made in God’s image. Whether a person has albinism, dwarfism, or any unique physical appearance, this collection honours those identities as sacred, powerful, and beautiful,” he said.
He said the collection promotes the message that beauty lies in individuality, emphasising that every person deserves dignity, visibility, and representation.
According to him, the designs aim to redefine African excellence on the global fashion stage while using fashion as a platform to promote inclusion, self-expression, and social change.
