World record holder Tobi Amusan is set to compete at the 2026 Athlos, the women’s-only professional track and field series, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian hurdler will race in the 100m hurdles at both legs of the event.

The first takes place at StoneX Stadium in London on September 18, followed by the finale at Icahn Stadium in New York City on October 2.

Athlos, founded by Alexis Ohanian, is an all-female professional meet that features high prize money and a distinctive presentation style.

Amusan’s participation adds significant star power to the 100m hurdles field as the series expands with its first international stop in London this year.

The announcement was made by the official Athlos account, confirming that the world record holder will take on her specialist event at both venues.
