…. Says Argungu fishing festival shows peace is returning across Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris for executing good projects for the people of the State.
The president who also attended the grand finale of Argungu fishing festival, noted that, the successful hosting of the ancient festival shown that peace are returning to various state and Federal Government would win insurgent war.
Tinubu who stated this while commissioning ultra-modern State Secretariat which was named after him, in Birnin Kebbi said that he was not surprised in seen the Kebbi State Governor Comrade Dr.Nasir Idris executing meaningful capital projects that as the direct bearing to the people of Kebbi State.
The President who commissioned other projects executed by the Governor Nasir Idris such as, modern Motor Park, the new dualized 3 lane carriage way along Emir Haruna Road Birnin Kebbi, Kauran Gwandu College of Nursing and Midwifery Science Ambursa as well as the dualized old Argungu By-Pass.
He described the Kebbi state Governor as a brother, friend and Comrade who is working in the interest of masses at heart, saying “I knew what you can do, you are a man with mission and vision, I always proud of you” he said.
The President who commended the the people of Kebbi State for supporting the present administration under the able leadership of Comeraqde Dr.Nasir for achieving this noble results.
At the Grand finale Argungu fishing festival, Argungu town, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu described the Governor, Dr Nasir Idris as the hard working Governor,stressed that he has commissioned alot of projets and seen others.
He lauded the fishermen for their displayed of skills saying “this is remarkable scene. This fishing festival has staying for decades and opportunity of natural resources for national development”.
He commended the Kebbi State for successful hosting of the fishing festival and entire people of the State stressed that the Kebbi State Governor has demonstrated a team leader.
He observed that there have been significant improvement in the security in the state and across the country stressed that the relative peace been experiencing was as results of sacrifices of uniform men and community intelligence.
He said that the war against the insurgent would be won and farmers, fishermen would be going about their normal businesses.

Tinubu noted that the hosting of Argungu fishing festival is a testament that the peace and security are returning to the country.
President assured the farmers that the Federal Government would support the state government to assist the farmers to make Kebbi State more food production.
He said that the Argungu fishing festival brought different people together, project Nigeria in positive way and strengthen the federal government commitment to the peace and unity of the nation.
He commended all the Governors that attended the occasion and other dignitaries.
In his remark, Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, expressed his happiness with the presence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his love for physically presence at the finale Argungu fishing festival.
He noted his administration has done a lot of gigantic projects in the state with other presidential projects across the state.
Idris disclosed that his administration has employed a lot of doctors and Nurses with the establishment of new school of Midwifery and distribution of agriculture inputs to farmers free of charge.
He added that his administration have established four mega schools, free education for all children in the state, sponsoring of less privileged students to studies in foreign countries saying he had fulfilled 80 percentage of his campaign promises.
Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Mohammad Samaila Mera, who is the custodian of the Mata Fadan river, tendered apology for the broken of the protocol experience before the commencement of the fishing festival by fishermen, saying ” as the custodian of Mara Fadan, I accepted all the blame”.
He disclosed that for decades, the festival has been holding to show case unity and resilience among the people of the State and other citizens.
The Emir commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for cited super highway in Kebbi state stressed that with other projects, the people would benefited a lot.
