President Bola Tinubu will undertake a one-day official visit to Kebbi State on Saturday to commission key projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris.

According to  State House press release issued by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, while in Kebbi, Tinubu will serve as the special guest of honour at the 61st edition of the 2026 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, one of Africa’s most vibrant cultural spectacles.

Staged along the riverside of the historic Matan Fada – a site recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity – the festival draws global attention for its blend of traditional fishing prowess, music, dance, and community celebrations.
