Tinubu swears in two RMAFC commissioners, chairs FEC meeting

President Bola Tinubu on Monday administered the Oath of Office to two newly confirmed federal commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

The brief swearing-in took place at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja, shortly before the start of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by the President. The appointees — Amina Ibrahim Gamawa, representing Bauchi State, and Abdullahi Mukhtar, representing Kaduna State — were sworn in together and immediately assumed their duties.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, said the meeting’s agenda also included the swearing-in of newly appointed Federal Commissioners to the National Population Commission (NPC).

Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, Head of the Civil Service Didi Esther Walson-Jack, members of the cabinet, and former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani were among those present.
