Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Alhaja Sinatu Aderoju Ojikutu, has called on President Bola Tinubu to stop attributing all that God has used him to do on earth to himself.
She urged the president to credit his achievements to God and cautioned him to be aware that God remains the Supreme being.
In a message made available to Daily Sun, she wrote: “We Nigerians have allowed him into the leadership position. And God allowed Tinubu to be in the # 1 position to show us that He, God, is the Doer of all that he had been attributing to himself because now all he has done since assuming office has had a negative impact on the lives of people.
“If he does not change this posture of deifying himself, we are just starting to suffer big time. Nothing that he does in this period will yield fruit, and deaths from famine and other crimes would escalate. All his economic policies will be truncated. The song being sung by his followers must change from ‘On your mandate, we stand’ to ‘On God’s mandate we stand’. This is my message and it came to me for the third time today.”
Alhaja Sinatu Aderoju Ojikutu, was Deputy Governor, Lagos State from 1991 to1993.
