President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the 2025 Rivers State budget to the House of Representatives for approval.
President Tinubu’s letter seeking the House’s approval for the N1.5 trillion Rivers budget was read at Thursday’s plenary by the speaker, Tajudeen Abbas.
The President had in March declared an Emergency Rule in Rivers for six months, in the first instant, following the lingering political crisis in the state.
