Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat said President Bola Tinubu is courageously taking important steps to strengthen the nation’s economy and build a more secure future for Nigerians.
Hamzat, who is the 2027 gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, stated this after voting for Tinubu at the APC presidential primary election in Epe.
Tinubu contested against lone rival, Stanley Osifo, for the APC ticket in a primary election held across the nation on Saturday.

In a Facebook post after casting his vote, Hamzat said, “Today, alongside my wife, Oluremi, I voted for His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the APC presidential primary election in Epe, Lagos State.
“President Tinubu has shown courage in taking important steps to strengthen our economy and build a more secure future for Nigerians.
“While nation-building requires patience and sacrifice, his vision for a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria continues to inspire hope.
“I remain optimistic about the future of our country and encouraged by the spirit of Nigerians who continue to believe in progress, unity, and better opportunities for all.”
