President Bola Tinubu left Lagos for Abuja on Wednesday evening, concluding Eid-el-Fitr celebrations and a series of key meetings after his high-profile state visit to the United Kingdom.

His flight departed from the Presidential Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport precisely at 6:44 p.m., attended by top dignitaries, according to a statement released by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Tinubu arrived back in Nigeria from the UK early on Friday and led Eid prayers at Dodan Barracks. In Lagos, he hosted 23 governors, including Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, an EU delegation, and the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC).

Vice President Kashim Shettima briefed him on a trip to Borno State following a recent suicide bombing.

President Tinubu was seen off by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, former Governor Olusegun Osoba, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, senior officials, and All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders.
