The chances of re-electing President Bola Tinubu during the 2027 presidential election received a huge boost on Wednesday, as his teeming loyalists have promised to give him over 10 million votes to secure victory for him.
Director-general of the umbrella body of all support groups for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGram), Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, gave the promise while fielding questions from Daily Sun in Abuja.
Omobamidele, a Special Assistant on Mobilisation to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, further explained that CAGram has mandated each of its 1.2 million members to mobilise and bring at least 10 more votes each during the presidential election.
According to him: “CAGram is promising 10 million direct votes during 2027 presidential election to President Tinubu. The 10 million votes are strictly coming from CAGram which comprises 70 per cent of all APC support groups.
“APC registered support groups is about 2,294 and most of the support groups has over 10,000 and more and CAGRam as the umbrella of all support group has over 1.2 million active members across the 36 state including FCT.

“We have mandated each of our members to mobilise and bring 10 more votes. That mean one member of CAGRam plus 10 votes from the prospective grassroots. With that we can boast of 10 million direct vote from CAGRam,” Omobamidele explained.
Asked if he feels that President Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election without rigging, he fumed: “What is rigging? What is rigging? Can anyone rig an election without anybody raising a voice? You should have told me that Tinubu would stay in his room and start writing the results. What is rigging? If you vote, and I vote, are you saying that many will vote for Asiwaju? It is impossible that he will not get more votes than any other person.
“Do you know the impact and the number of boys President Tinubu has on the streets? They are capable boys. Are you telling me that Atiku has the kind of forces that Asiwaju has? No, no, no, no… Or that they know politics more than Tinubu? No, no… Atiku, as a Customs officer, can only be more knowledgeable in affairs than Asiwaju in that field, but not in politics.
“And if you are talking about the importer and exporter, the other person may also know more than Tinubu. But when it comes to politics, leave it to those people grounded in it. Even those other people know that Tinubu is a master strategist. He knows this game, but it is good that they are involved so that they can be relevant.
“People like Atiku and Obi just want to be relevant, maybe after Tinubu finishes his second tenure. It is also allowed in a democracy. As for 2027, it is already a done deal. Baba will win them. I can tell you that the kind of vote Baba we get this time is not the kind we saw the last time.
“The margin will be much more because people, like me, are more than one million outside there in every part of Nigeria, and we are going to deliver the votes to Baba Tinubu. I want to congratulate him in advance and tell Nigerians to be patient. A better Nigeria with President Tinubu is possible,” he assured.
