Tinubu: ‘I will be present’ – Sowore responds to DSS charges

Omoyele Sowore

Omoyele Sowore has responded after the Department of State Services (DSS) filed charges against him over his social media posts against President Bola Tinubu.

Daily Sun reported that the five-count charge was filed on Tuesday before the Federal High Court in Abuja, following the DSS request that social media platforms X and Facebook pull down Sowore’s posts calling Tinubu a criminal.

Reacting via his official X account on Tuesday, Sowore questioned the ability of those running the country while assuring that he would be present for trial.

“It’s hard to believe there’s anyone sensible left in these offices that should be making Nigeria work.

“Regardless, I will be present whenever this case is assigned for trial,” part of the social media post reads.
