Tinubu has defied all agitation for Biafra – Umahi

Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi has said that President Bola Tinubu has addressed marginalization of south East zone in the scheme of things which were  responsible for the agitation of Biafra in the region.

He stated this in his Uburu home town, Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State while addressing the people after his son’s was declared winner of the local government congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming local government and councilorship elections in the state.

He urged the people of South East to appreciate the President by supporting his administration.

Umahi said Tinubu has lifted all the roads in the region and that evidence are  overwhelming.

“I  will continue to ask the people of South East to appreciate President Bola Tinubu very well. Whether you like it or not, the President has defied all the agitation  for Biafra .

“The President has done which no man has been able to do. We are not living on sentiments, the south east cannot become President by sentiment or by blackmail or by hate or by intimidation.

“Some people talk without understanding what they are even talking about. The issue of Biafra was borne out of neglect that certain things was  made, South East was not included.

“But now,  we are getting all those things and those who are still in dark, are still dishing out hate speeches. But I can assure the people of South East that many people’s eyes are open and that we have seen the light and when it will be the turn of south east to be President, rainbow candidate will

“It will not be a candidate of go and see what I have done and you need to use torchlight in the day time to be looking for go and see what I have done.

“But for me at night, President Bola Tinubu is lifting up our roads. So, you don’t even need torchlight in the night to see what President Tinubu is doing”, he stated.

He urged the people of the zone to register in APC and declared that the region belongs to the President in 2027.”

“Everybody should go and register in APC, go and register in APC. South East belongs to President Bola Tinubu and when it the right time and that is the time of God, he will make all things beautiful.

“Whether you like me, you don’t like me, is not my business. I am an Apostle, I am a Priest and I am a King. And so, the word that we speak, shall come to pass”, the former governor of Ebonyi state stated.
