President Bola Tinubu has commended his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, for his incisive policy essays and sustained engagement with the media as the presidential aide marks his 50th birthday.
Tinubu, in a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday, by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, acknowledged Ajayi’s contributions to communicating his administration’s policies and programmes, particularly through in-depth essays on key policy issues and his engagement across various media platforms.
The President described Ajayi as an accomplished journalist, entrepreneur and media and communications professional, whose experience spans journalism, publishing, advertising and public relations.
He praised the presidential aide’s diligence and consistent efforts in promoting the policies and programmes of his administration, urging him to sustain his contributions to national development.
Ajayi, who holds a degree in Literature in English from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, also obtained a master’s degree in the same discipline from the University of Lagos in 2005.
Before his appointment as presidential aide, he worked in mainstream journalism and occupied various strategic positions in the publishing, advertising and public relations industries.
Tinubu joined Ajayi’s family, friends, associates and members of the State House media department in celebrating the milestone, wishing him good health, renewed strength and many more years of service to the nation.
