President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian-American basketball star Ejimofor Anosike of China’s Hong Kong Bulls for his outstanding performance in the 2026 National Basketball League Championship.
Anosike not only led his team to victory as the NBL Champions, but also earned the prestigious Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, the Best International Player award, and the Slam Dunk Champion title.
The President says Anosike’s achievements demonstrate his exceptional talent, discipline, and resilience, noting that his success on the international stage brings pride and honour to Nigeria and serves as an inspiration to young athletes across the country and the African continent.
