President Bola Tinubu has extended warm birthday wishes to Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, who marks his birthday today, March 12.
In a message released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu hailed Governor Mutfwang for his responsible leadership, which he said has helped stabilize Plateau State and restore its reputation as the “Home of Peace and Tourism.”
The President praised the governor’s strides in improving security, rural infrastructure, healthcare, and education across the state. He also commended Mutfwang’s economic initiatives, particularly his efforts to revitalise the state’s economy through the establishment of agro-logistics hubs.
President Tinubu lauded the Plateau helmsman for embracing inclusive governance and fostering peaceful co-existence among the state’s diverse communities.

The President further acknowledged Governor Mutfwang’s recent inauguration of a 14-member State Advisory Committee on State Police, describing the move as proactive and consistent with his directive to states to begin processes toward establishing state police.
Tinubu described the initiative as a strategic step toward strengthening the state’s security architecture.
